Welcome to TravelPatient.com (“the App”). The App is owned and operated by TravelPatient.com (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If these guidelines do not align with your preferences, please discontinue your use of the platform, and feel free to let us know how we can serve you better.

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

1.1. To access certain features of the Application, including the professional registration modules, you must create a user account.

1.2. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account details updated.

1.3. For healthcare professionals registering on the platform, you must hold a valid, active medical license or professional certification in your operating jurisdiction. You are strictly prohibited from submitting fraudulent, expired, or false credentials.

1.4. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and login tokens. Any activity that occurs under your account is your sole responsibility.

2. Intended Purpose and No Medical Advice Disclaimer

2.1. Medical Treatment Facilitation Only: The App and services provided by the Travel Patient team are intended strictly for administrative and travel facilitation purposes to assist users in coordinating foreign medical treatment.

 2.2. No Medical Care: The Travel Patient team does not provide medical treatment, healthcare services, clinical diagnoses, or medical opinions.

2.3. Independent Professional Judgment: All medical treatments, procedures, consultations, and healthcare services are performed independently by the third-party hospitals, medical centers, or doctors chosen by the user.

3. Acceptable Use and Platform Rules

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of local laws.
  • Submit, upload, or transmit any false, misleading, or fraudulent professional credentials.
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or breach any security features, encryption systems, or data transmission protocols of the App.
  • Introduce any viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious software code, or launch any hacking attempts, cyber-attacks, or unauthorized access operations into our systems or databases.
  • Use any automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to extract data, text, or content from the App without our prior written consent.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a healthcare facility, or share your account access credentials with unauthorized individuals.
  • Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App without our explicit written permission.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1. All contents, graphics, user interface designs, logos, software code, databases, and structural assets within the App are the exclusive property of TravelPatient.com or its authorized licensing partners and vendors.

4.2. Your use of the App grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the application on your personal mobile device strictly for its intended professional use.

5. Account Suspension and Termination

5.1. We reserve the absolute right, without liability, to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if:

  • You commit a breach of any provision within these Terms.
  • You fail to provide verifiable professional licensing data.
  • We detect unauthorized technical access or suspicious database requests originating from your account.

6. Limitation of Liability and Third-Party Treatment Disclaimer

6.1. As-Is Basis: The App is provided on an “As-Is” and “As-Available” basis. The Company shall not be liable for temporary downtime, network delays, or transmission failures.

6.2. No Responsibility for Treatment Errors: The Travel Patient team functions solely as a service support provider. If there are any medical errors, negligence, malpractice, or surgical issues during your treatment process at a hospital, the Travel Patient team shall not be held responsible or legally liable. Any such issues are the sole responsibility of the respective hospital, medical facility, or treating doctor.

 6.3. No Liability for Medical Side Effects: Medical treatments, especially foreign medical procedures, carry inherent risks. The Travel Patient team is completely separate from the clinical process and accepts no liability for any medical complications, side effects, unexpected health outcomes, or treatment failures resulting from care received at a destination hospital.

6.4. Support Services Only: The liability of the Travel Patient team is strictly limited to providing logistical, administrative, and software service support. We do not guarantee the medical outcomes or clinical standards of any third-party healthcare provider listed on or coordinated through our platform.

7. Changes and Updates to these Terms

7.1. Updates Based on Features: We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect updates to our application’s features, changes in the law, or advancements in our administrative workflows.

7.2. Notification of Changes: If we make material (major) updates to these Terms, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page, or through an in-app notification before the changes take effect.

7.3. Continued Use: Your continued use of the App after any changes are published means that you accept and agree to the newly updated Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the App.

8. Educational Articles and Advertisements

8.1. Knowledge Sharing Articles: The App may host articles, blogs, or guides for general knowledge-sharing purposes. This content is provided for informational use only and does not constitute official medical advice or professional endorsements. The Travel Patient team makes no guarantees regarding the absolute accuracy or completeness of information within user-shared or third-party articles.

8.2. Platform Advertisements: The Website may display advertisements or promotional content. The Mobile Application does not currently display third-party advertisements and does not use advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple’s IDFA) for advertising purposes. We may show information about our own services in the App. If we introduce third-party advertising or advertising identifiers in the Mobile Application in the future, we will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy before doing so.

After publishing: Confirm Terms no longer imply current in-app third-party ads.

8.3. Third-Party External Links: Advertisements may contain clickable links directing you to external websites or mobile services. The Travel Patient team does not control, review, or accept liability for the content, privacy policies, safety, or business practices of these third-party platforms. Clicking on any advertisement link is done entirely at your own risk.
